Ayla's Anthology

For literacy we made a anthology and anthology is a collection of poems I put these types of poems in my anthology limerick,acrostic,triplet,cinquain, and Tongue twisters. I made 5 limericks 5 acrostic poems 5 triplet 1 cinquain  tongue twisters including one I made a limerick is 3 claps per line and a rhyming word at the end of the sentence with 5 lines the 1,2 and 5th line rhyme at the end and the 3rd and 4th rhyme but different words. a triplet is 3 lines per like paragraph but all the end line rhyme
Here is my anthology I didn't get as many poems as I thought I would so I didn't get time to decorate.

I found easy to write the poems and tongue twisters.
I found challenging to think of ideas for my poem.

Phonics

For phonics this term we have been looking at words and finding the meaning the words are another meaning for words but longer. we colour stars,clocks and butterfly's. we folded part of the paper and wrote underneath it a sentence of what that word meant. we had like a theme for each cut out the clock was chrono and then put a word after that. the star was astro. the butterfly was bio witch stands for life. here are the 3 of mine.
