Coordinates

                                                          COORDINATES

In Maths we are learning about coordinates. We learnt that you say the letter first then the number. Our map was about the story "little red riding hood" we had 2 things to do first we wrote what coordinates where already drawn on the paper we has to write where they where like I4. then we had to draw items in the right place where is said like draw a waterfall at E6 then we coloured the pictures that we drawn.
I found easy where to put the coordinators like A5
I found challenging drawing the pictures.

How to get your parents to say yes to making... ( slime )

For the last week at literacy I have been working and publishing a set of instructions on how to get your parents to say yes to making... ( slime ) slime is what i done my instructions on but these instructions could be used for other things. we started by planning and putting our ideas on a padlet. then we wrote it down in our book made sure it came in all of the independent checking then we buddy checked. and made sure is made sense,spelling was correct,punctuation. my story doesn't have much humor as it is a set of instructions you could actually use. but humoures once you can use to but mine doesn't have that much of humor in it. would you use these instructions if you needed to make slime with your parents saying yes?

Blocks

For math we looked at a video where every time there is 8 counters but they where in a different order or shape with the counters. we had to make out own video of different shapes and patterns in our blocks. I made a stop motion of them moving to different spots and at the end I wiped them all away.

I found challenging to move them quickly and take the stop motion without any thing else in there.
I found easy  to make different ways to put my blocks.
