Going on a bear hunt Directions Map

In maths we are learning about directions. we listened to the story we are going on a bear hunt. We picked out the obstacles in the story. We then drew a map of the story. We had to carefully think about what directions to send the reader in and how long we used the directions North,South,East and West. we drawn a map of a house and all of the obstacles. behind it the first one long wet squishy grass. then a river,Mud ( which I put a pig on for fun ) a forest,a rainstorm and then you reach the cave with the bear in it.

I found easy drawing the picture and making the map
I found challenging what to say to put them in the right lengths for how far apart the obstacles are.
my coordinates with my picture:
1. Go 200m north east.
2.Go threw the grass.
3.Go another 200m west.
4.Go threw the river.
5.Go 300m threw the mud and the pig.
6.Go north 50m then turn east
7. Go threw the forest.
8.Go north east to meet a rain forest.
9.Go threw the rain storm
10. Go west to met the bear in a cave.

Coca Cola pool

Today we watched a 24 second video of coca cola in a pool we have to blog our response so My response is well I don't know I don't really get the point of the video. but when I watch it more I think why because I don't get why you would waste coca cola because I wouldn't drink that after its been in a pool weather new or not. and the title was how many bottles of coca cola was that and I think it could be around 327 and that is juts a guess. considering the bottles are very small compared to the pool,How

I found easy guessing how many bottles of coca cola
I found challenging figuring out what we where meant to tell our response about

many coca cola bottles do you think was there? here is a photo/or/ video

Walking threw the woods

Today in literacy we made a book cover for our stories shown don't tell where we picked a photo from Pobble 365 where everyday of the year there is posted a a new photo that's where the 365 comes from. and we have to describe what is going on by not telling exactly what's happening so you have to use describing words to tell whats happening. and we had to make a cover including a picture and a title and on the back a summary. A summary is where you describe what the book is about but turning it shorter and just including the main parts like excluding "she walked threw the woods"  but like when she meets something. so here is my cover and summary about this picture empty boots.

Brain Teaser

Today in Maths we looked at a equation a restaurant gets a larger booking. They join 12 tables together for the booking. How many people do you think will be at the dinner? there was a picture to help us out then we had to blog our responses and I say the answer is 72 because I counted how many people where at one table and there was 6 and there was 12 tables so I just made a simple equation 6x12 and got 72 by making 12 + 12 makes 24 so 24 + 24 was 48 and I knew that was 4 tables already done then I kept on multiplying that equation until it met up to 12 tables and I got 72. And that is my answer.
Here is the picture that helped us.
I didn't find anything challenging about that equation.
I found easy multiplying the equation like my example 24+24 and so on.
