Surfing Trip

Last week the year 6 of Punui-o-toka went to Sumner beach and went surfing and boogie boarding. For most of us it was our first time it was my first time boogie boarding and surfing,We also had one off water activity where we had a sand castle building contest. we were only aloud to go waist deep for surfing but for boogie boarding they let us go a little bit higher if we knew what we where doing well enough. I stood up the first time I was on my surfboard and one wave was 3 merged together and I started almost neck deep and ended ankle deep. The photo of lots of people where my group-the groups where homerooms and you got either dolphin or seal and that photo is the dolphins of my homeroom.

I found it easy to stay on the board(s) and actually surf-stand up for a while
I found it hard to get onto the board while I was deep in the water
Here are some photos I have pointed to the ones that have me in them.

Te reo

Today in Te reo we had to fill out a sheet either write Te or a we would write a or Te depending on if the Maori word is a object or a person but the whole sentence is in moari so some of the words we didn't know what they where to we had to find out what they meant. So we are learning to say when an object is.We learnt about what the singular  and plurals in maori. Kei hea te ( or a ) where is Kei hea nga __ where are.
I found it easy to do everything
I found it hard to do nothing
Here is a picture of my work:
