Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs

For Wananga we have been learning about Maslow's Hierarchy of needs which is a Hierarchy about needs, A Hierarchy is like a stage of importance shape, This one is a triangle and it goes from the basic needs at the bottom to the best needs to have at the top, The base is about Physiological needs Which is just like clothes,Food, water, shelter and air someone must have all of those before moving up levels. The level above that is Safety needs, so after Physiological you need personal security, health, employment and resources. The next one is Love and belonging, You will need friendship,Family and a sense of connection this can effect many things if you're not doing well at home and you don't have the level Love and Belonging completed then everything else you do is going to be effected by whatever is happening. It could effect your schoolwork and pretty much anything else you do if you keep thinking about it, That's why this level is really nice to have completed. The next thing that is on the chart is Esteem which is respect,Self esteem, strength and freedom, Once you have completed Love and Belonging this is about Having confidence in yourself and it doesn't have to be about yourself it can be about anyone. The last thing is self-actualization which is about being someone you are proud to be and having the best life you can, Your happy with what you have done and what you are.  This is a great chart on basic and more complicated things that you can achieve in life and be proud of.
